Write @ Your Library 2024

Submission Deadline: October 25, 2024

Are you a young writer? Do you have a story to tell? The 2024 Write @ Your Library creative writing contest is seeking submissions of short stories, poems, and cover art. This contest is open to students in grades 7 to 12 from across Grey and Bruce Counties. Winning entries will receive cash prizes of up to $100.00 and will be published in the “Write for 2024” anthology.

 

This event is coordinated by the Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library, and is enabled through the participation and sponsorship of the Ginger Press, The United Way, Bruce County Public Library, Grey Highlands Public Library, Hanover Public Library, Meaford Public Library, Southgate Public Library and West Grey Public Library.

Write @ Your Library 2023 - Concluded

Thank you to our 2023 participants! We had over 100 stories and poems submitted this year, all of which were brimming with creativity and talent. You can read the stories on our website or by checking out the anthology in our Youth Services department. 

The next Write @ Your Library contest will take place in the fall of 2024. Keep your eye on our newsletter and website for more information.
